Growing up in a family that taught the importance of a relationship with Christ, Charles knows firsthand the influence of godly parents and grandparents in the life of a child and seeks to continue, by God’s grace, the discipleship of children and families in western Michigan. Having his undergraduate from Cedarville University and his M.Div from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, he is passionate about knowing God’s Word and making it known. Charles and his wife, Kallie, have four children – 2 girls and 2 boys – who serve as a constant reminder that each child needs to be taught God’s Word in order to find faith, repentance, and grace through Jesus Christ. He leads a gifted team of volunteers who also desire to see children and parents come to salvation and then to grow together as a family in conformity to Jesus Christ through the community of the local church.

Born and raised in South Carolina, Jasper realized as a teenager good manners wouldn’t save him. He needed forgiveness. At the age of 15 God saved him and called him to ministry. He earned his bachelors of Theology and Pastoral ministries at Appalachian Bible College. There he met his wife Sarah. They have 3 beautiful girls. Jasper serves on staff as Youth Pastor. Our future is heavily determined by the decisions that we make as teenagers. His vision is to reach students at the crossroads and show them the way that leads to and honors Christ. Jasper also connects Summit with the Holland Rescue Mission via our City Harvest ministry. City Harvest is a chapel service for the residents of the mission, as well as the public. The goal is to bring Summit Church to them, giving the body an opportunity to reach out to those hurting in our community with the good news of Jesus Christ.
